I don't know what I did, but when I reposted my Newsletters as Blog entries, the dates got scrambled. I tried, but I cannot seem to fix them. Sorry about that. I better go talk to the sheep. That's probably more my forte.

Cooking supper has become something of a nuisance lately. I have always believed that a real, cooked supped was essential for my family. It is the one time we all have to look at each other. We catch up on what's been going on, plan ahead, share joys or grievances. It has been a non negotiable for years.

You might have noticed we are kind of bird lovers around here. We note, and share with each other, the arrival of migratory birds, pretty birds, and noteworthy or less common birds. I have been hearing the oriole around in the distance for maybe a week or so. Blue birds have been checking out nesting boxes.

Well, the weather continues to vacillate. Last week went into the 80s, and this week has started with 29F overnight Monday and 25F Tuesday. Winds, rain, frost and blazing sun - April has had them all - even a couple of flurries around lunchtime Monday.
